Preparing charts for workshop day
What to print, what to leave at home, and how many oscillators to show when you arrive for an oscillator comparison intensive.
Participants sometimes arrive with six indicators stacked so tightly that price itself is hard to see. For the Intensive, less ink helps everyone.
Bring
- Two charts from the past fortnight on markets you actually trade
- One chart where an oscillator “failed” you — those are gold in discussion
- A notebook with room for if/then rules, not only screenshots
Leave off the default layout (for the morning)
- Volume profiles, order-flow heatmaps, and news overlays — we will not cover them
- More than four oscillators on a single pane
- Auto-trade scripts running in the background during class
If your platform fights you on printing, screenshots on a tablet are fine. We care that the class can point at the same bar together, not that the paper is glossy.
